Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026
Nodelight ("the app") is a single-player puzzle game. This policy explains what information the app handles, what it doesn't, and how the optional advertising feature works.
Information we collect
Nodelight does not require an account, sign-in, or registration, and does not ask you for any personal information. The app has no server backend — it does not transmit your gameplay to us or to anyone else.
Information stored on your device
To remember your progress between sessions, the app stores the following data locally on your device only, using standard on-device storage:
- Which levels you've completed and your best time for each
- Which levels you've unlocked, including any unlocked by watching a rewarded ad
- Whether you've already seen the first-launch tutorial
This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data from your device settings, permanently deletes it.
Advertising
Nodelight uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded video ads — shown only when you choose to watch one, to unlock a level early. The app does not show any other kind of ad (no banners, no interstitials, no ads you didn't ask for).
Nodelight does not ask for permission to track you across other apps or websites (no App Tracking Transparency prompt), and any ads shown are not personalized using cross-app tracking data. To deliver, measure, and protect against fraud on the ads it does show, Google's AdMob SDK may still process some technical data (such as a device-level advertising identifier, general device information, and approximate location) under Google's own privacy policy, not ours:
Analytics and tracking
Nodelight does not use any analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs beyond the AdMob advertising SDK described above.
Children's privacy
Nodelight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because the app itself collects no personal information at all, there is nothing to store or delete in that regard — if you believe a child has otherwise been served an inappropriate ad, please contact us using the details below.
